The most important thing however is that they do not pose a disturbance to other passengers on the boat.

In most cases, it is unfortunately not possible to bring your bicycle on board of a fast ferry. There are some exceptions and cases in which it is allowed to do so, but only if the bike is folded and packed. We recommend contacting directly the company in question to confirm whether or not it is allowed to bring it with you on that specific ferry line.
